Clarksville,AR.-- Southwestern Christian(1-2-2) women's soccer team picks up a draw against NCAA D3 opponent University of the Ozarks(0-5-1), the final score after the end of Regulation was 0-0.
Southwestern Christian would be on the attack for most of the first half with seven shots, so many just inches from going in. Second half was not much different for the SCU Eagles with six shots.
Celeste Lucio picked up two saves on the day. SCU had 13 shots with 10 of those on goal. The SCU Eagles really put the pressure on the Ozark defense and did not relent.
Riley Stanfill had 4 shots and 3 of those on goal
The Eagles will return the action on the Road at Sterling,KS as they will face off against Sterling College on Sept.24th at 2:00 pm for more SCU Women's Soccer.
