"Southwestern Christian University family just learned that our dear friend and colleague, Mr. Danny Nix, was ushered into heaven and the arms of his loving heavenly Father earlier today.  Danny was an supporter of SCU and loved his alma mater.  Serving as the Alumni President, he sacrificially gave of his time to grow our alumni base.  Danny will be truly missed." - President Tom Murray

Danny helped in the athletic department for many years serving as the voice you heard during the Men and Women's basketball games. He also helped develop the live stream for the sports at SCU and helped in more ways then possible. Danny left a big impact on the SCU athletics and will be dearly missed by the athletes and peers from Southwestern Christian.

The funeral will be held this coming Tuesday the 7th at 10am. It will be held at Victory Church.
