OKLAHOMA CITY—The 2020-21 Sooner Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes were announced last week, as 40 Southwestern Christian student-athletes were awarded with the honors.

To earn SAC Scholar-Athlete accolades, a student-athlete must maintain at minimum a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average while appearing on the eligibility certificate for an NAIA-recognized sport. The student-athletes must also be at least a junior by academic standing and completed two full years at the nominating institution or one full year as a collegiate transfer.

Baseball tied with Oklahoma City University at 10 total honorees. Of those 10, 4 achieved a 4.0.

Men's and women's soccer each added 6 names to the list.

Of the 42 total SCU student-athletes earning the award, 12 have achieved a 4.0.
