Eagles season comes to end at NCCAA Softball World Series

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 Kansas City,MO.-- Southwestern Christian(24-30) has their World Series run cut short as they were eliminated in Pool Play as they lose to #1 seed Mid-America Christian on the second day of pool play falling to 1-2 in the early stages of the NCCAA World series. The Eagles split day one games, losing in game one against #5 seed Oakland City 12-6 and winning a banger of a game two against #8 seed Trinity Baptist College 8-6. The Eagles finished the season at 24-30 their best finish since 2012 and were excited about their first ever appearance in the NCCAA softball world series. The Eagles had five girls make the Sooner Athletic All-Conference team. Since the program was started up in 2012 this the Second time the Eagles have finished the Season with 20+ Wins. This season also was Coach Kent Williams most wins in a season since he started the program up in 2012. The Eagles look forward to next season as they have had success in recruiting this season and off-season with signing big local names from around the state of Oklahoma and look to build on their success in 2023.
