Winfield, Kan. --  Southwestern Christian (7-7,1-7 SAC) sweep the Doubleheader against Southwestern College.

Game 1: SCU 10 - SC 7

The scoring was opened up in the first inning for the Eagles when they scored three runs.Southwest would get a run in the bottom of the second inning. Then both teams would score 1 run each in the 4th inning. The big inning for the mound builders would come in the 6th inning when they would score 5 runs after a couple of multiple hits put together. Southwest College would take the lead in the 6th inning 7 to 5. But the Eagles weren't giving up just yet. They would end of scoring 5 runs in the top of the 7th inning taking the lead 10-7. The Eagles would hold off the Mound Builders in the bottom of the 7th and win the game.

Game 2: SCU 8 - SC 2

Hitting was the difference again for the Eagles in game 2. The Eagles  would score first again in this game. They would score 1 run in the top of the first but then two more in the top of the second inning. Southwest would also score two runs in the bottom of the second inning. But the Eagles would have a huge inning again the top of the 7th inning scoring 4 more runs winning the game 8 to 2.
