The game was close through the first 3 innings of the game MACU being up 2 to 1. The Evangels would score 3 runs in the forth inning when SCU had an error scoring two MACU runs and then following that MACU hit into a fielders choice scoring another run. SCU would be scoreless for the rest of the game but the Evangels would score 7 more runs in the 5th inning ending the game in a run rule 12 to 1.
