Fort Worth,TX.-- Southwestern Christian(5-5,1-4 SAC) fell to Texas Wesleyan in both games 1-9, as the Rams outhit the Lady Eagles 10-23 in the Doubleheader.
Game 1:
Texas Wesleyan opened the game with two runs in the 1st, to give them a 0-2 lead. The Rams would add another run in the Third to make it 0-3.
Britney Czelusniak would hit a BOMB in the fourth inning to make it a 1-3 game, but unfortunately that would be the only for SCU in game one. Texas Wesleyan would stack on six more runs after the fourth inning, to win game one by run rule in the sixth inning at 1-9.
Harli Clem would get the nod in game one for SCU, her final stat line was 5.2 IP & 4 K's, but unfortunately she would give up seven Earned runs in the appearance and the Loss, she moves to 1-3 on the season.
Elisha Stilwell led the Lady Eagles in the Hitting Category today, she finished 2-3 at the plate, while
Bullock, Czelusniak, Elam,& Patton would each finish with a hit a piece.
Game 2:
Texas Wesleyan started off game two, drawing first blood scoring three runs in the first inning to give them 0-3 lead. They would stack on two more runs in the fourth inning by a Double to make it a 0-5 TXWU lead. SCU would get a run back off a Texas Wesleyan Error that would score
Alys Parr to make the game 1-5 TXWU, but again unfortunately that would be all SCU could muster for the last couple innings as TXWU would score four more runs to win by run rule in the sixth inning at 1-9.
Elisha Stilwell would get the nod for game two, her final stat line was 5.0 IP,3 K's, & 3 BB, she unfortunately gave up six earned runs in the appearance and received the loss as well, she moves to 3-2 on the season.
Britney Czelusniak would come in relief for SCU, her stat line was 0.1 IP, she gave an one earned run in the relief effort.
Bullock,Parr,Stilwell,& Vess would each have one hit a piece in game two for SCU.
Southwestern Christian returns to action at home on a Tuesday, March 1st, for a Doubleheader starting at 1:00pm against Rival (RV)Mid-America Christian for another Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
