McPherson,KS,--Southwestern Christian(15-13,10-12 SAC) overcame first half struggles, to rout Central Christian, 81-64 to sweep the season series and end the Regular season on a high note as they now enter Postseason play with starting with the SAC tournament, and see if they can have a Cinderella post season and make it to the big dance of the NAIA national tournament. Central Christian shot 21-50 from the field averaging 42%, 9-23 from the three averaging 39% and shot 13-16 from the free throw line averaging 81%. Central Christian's Alison Kulesza led CCCK with 21 points. The Lady Eagles forced 15 turnovers on CCCK resulting in 21 points, 13 of those 15 TO were steals.Thamires Andrade picked up four steals, while Abbey Phibbs had two on the night. and four other Lady Eagles each had a steal,Gillian Snowder had three blocks on the night, setting a new career high in blocks in game.

Southwestern Christian shot relatively well tonight, The Lady Eagles shot 32-58 from the floor averaging 55%, also shot 11-22 from three (50%) and from the free throw line shot 6-7 (86%). Thamires Andrade led the Lady Eagles in points tonight with 25. The Lady Eagles Out-Rebounded the Lady Tigers 32-28, SCU had 5 offensive rebounds and scored 4 second chance points, Thamires Andrade led SCU in Rebounds and finished with 10. The Lady Eagles will return to action at Home, Tuesday, February 22nd, in Pickens-Springer Gymnasium at 6:00 PM against the SAGU Lions(10-18,7-15 SAC) for the First round of the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament, the Winner will move on to play against the #1 Seed Flying Queens of Wayland Baptist, while the loser gets sent home.
