McPherson,KS—Southwestern Christian University (12-13, 10-12 SAC) has shooting struggles against Central Christian College of Kansas(12-17, 6-16 SAC) losing 88-99. The Tigers shot 35-68 from the field averaging 51%, 16-37 from the three point line averaging 43% and shot 13-18 from the free throw line averaging 72%. Isaiah Rivera led the Tigers in Scoring with 25 points. The Eagles forced 16 turnovers resulting in 17 points.

The Eagles shot 33-74 from the floor averaging 44%, also shot 4-15 from three (26%) and from the free throw line shot 18-27 (66%). The Eagles were out-rebounded by CCCK 34-46, Derek Dantzler lead the Eagles once again with 8 rebounds and 18 points on the afternoon. The Eagles had 13 offensive rebounds and scoring 21 second chance points, The bench contributed 37 points to the effort, In total the Eagles had only 8 assist in the game. Southwestern Christian had only 17 points inside the paint.

Ron Washington  helped the Eagles tonight in scoring with 14 points. Ronald Moore had 15 points. Khristien White had 11 points Jordan Williams helped the team with 3 assist and 6 points.

The Eagles will return to action at home for the first round of the SAC Conference Tournament, Tuesday, February 22, at 8:00 PM against Panhandle State.
