Bethany Okla.-- Southwestern Christian(5-5, 3-2 SAC) competed in a very high pace game against Texas Wesleyan on Thursday afternoon in the Pickens-Springer Gym. TWU was very athletic and could get up and down up the floor with speed. The Rams shot 31-80 from the field(39%). The Eagles defense had 9 steals on the night with 4 blocks.
Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 25-69(36%) from the floor, while shooting 3 of 19(16%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 9 for 14 (64%) from the free throw line. The bench of SCU contributed 18 points. Jayden Mason being the top score with 20 points. Southwestern were out-rebounded by the Rams, (46-32). Delaney Reimer led SCU with five assists and SCU ended the night with 13 assists overall. Lauren Wade finished the night with 13 points, 5 rebounds.
Southwestern Christian returns to action against the top seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference Science & Arts(USAO) on December 10 at 2:00 PM in Chickasha, Okla.
