Bethany Okla,— Southwestern Christian(4-4, 2-3 SAC) and Texas Wesleyan played a very fast pace game on Thursday afternoon, the Eagles would come up short 79-89. The Rams shot 37 of 84 from the field(44%). Akili Vining lead the Rams shooting 11-19 from the field and ending the game with 29 points.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 27-61(44%) from the floor, while shooting 8 of 25(32%) from beyond the Arc, shot 17-26(65%) from the Charity Stripe. The Bench of SCU contributed 27 points to the effort. Shawn Hopkins being the top scorer coming off the bench with 15 points. The Eagles struggled with turnovers in this game having 22 and TWU scoring 25 points off those turnovers. SCU allowed 52 points within the paint in this match.

Luiz Machado Jr. led the scoring for SCU with 27 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist,& 1 steal he shot 9-20 from the floor, 3-8 from beyond the Arc and 6-9 from the free throw line.

Southwestern Christian returns to action on Saturday for another Sooner Conference game at Science & Arts University(USAO) on November 10 at 4PM.
