Chickasha,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(4-5, 2-4 SAC) played in another Sooner Athletic Conference game against #RV Science and Arts. SCU went into halftime down 43-37 and could not hold off USAO in the second half losing 102-84. USAO shot 39 of 83 from the field(47%). Samuel Cele had 30 points in this game for USAO.
Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 31-71(44%) from the floor, while shooting 8 of 31(26%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 14-18(78%) from the Free Throw Line. The Bench of SCU contributed 26 points to the effort. Darrin Ryan stepped up off the bench and had a season high 10 points. Southwestern Christian were out-rebounded by the Drovers, (47-41), SCU had 44 points in the paint compared to USAO 36 points in the paint.
Luiz Machado Jr led the Eagles with 28 points, 10 rebounds. Shawn Hopkins helped the Eagles with 11 points and 4 rebounds.
Southwestern Christian returns to action at home against Mid-America Christian on Tuesday night for the final Sooner Athletic Conference game of the semester at 8PM.
