Plainview,TX.-- Southwestern Christian(3-3, 1-2 SAC) fell against the #12 team in the country on Thursday afternoon Wayland Baptist University.  Pioneers shot 34-72 from the field(47%). Tedrick Wolfe was the leading scorer for WBU shooting 11-18 from the field and ending the game with 30 points. The Eagles defense had 7 steals on the night.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 28-63(44%) from the floor, while shooting 4 of 13(31%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 11 for 23(48%) from the free throw line. The bench of SCU contributed 36 points. Robert Chapman being the top scorer coming off the bench with 19 points. Wayland Baptist out-rebounded the Eagles, (43-38).Williams led SCU with five assists and SCU ended the night with 10 assists overall. Luiz Machado Jr. and Robert Chapman led the scoring for the Eagles with 19 points. Shawn Hopkins finished the night with 17 points, 4 rebounds.

Southwestern Christian returns to action on the Road in Goodwell, Okla on December 3rd at 4:00 PM against Oklahoma Panhandle State for another Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
