Bethany,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(1-0) struggled in the game tonight but found hard and beat Dallas Christian 55-48. The Crusaders shot 18 for 59 from the field(30%). The Eagles defensively ended the night with 5 steals and 3 blocks, Christian Jenkins had 2 blocks and Jayden Mason led the Eagles with 2 steals.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 21-60(35%) from the floor, while shooting 6-21(28%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 7-15(46%) from the Free Throw Line. The Bench of SCU contributed 31 pts to the effort out performing the Crusaders bench by +28 margin. Kaitin Taylor being the top scorer coming off the bench. Southwestern Christian out-rebounded Dallas Christian by a 42 to 33 advantage. Delaney Reimer lead SCU with five assists and SCU ended the night with 15 assist overall. The Big Stat for SCU was 24 points in the paint.

Kaitin Taylor led the scoring for SCU with 11 points, 7 rebounds and, 1 assist, she shot 3-7 from the floor and 3-4 from the Charity strike. Lauren Wade finished the night with 9 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, & 1 block. Christina Jenkins finishes the night with 11 rebounds and 4 points.The Eagles had 11 players with points in the hard fought game.
