Bethany, Okla – Southwestern Christian Faced cross town rival Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon in the Pickens-Springer Gymnasium. OCU came out strong, winning the match in the first 3 sets. SCU took OCU to 5 sets the last time they played, SCU tried to keep up with the powerhouse of OCU middle hitters but just couldn't stop them. 

Mina Iboni led the Eagles with 10 kills in the game and Tierney Sawyers was right behind her with 7 Kills. The Lady Eagles hitting percentage was .068% in this match while OCU's was .183%.

Faith Desouza had 24 assists in this game and Treasure Mozon helped the team with 13 Digs. The Eagles had trouble finding a rhythm to get this started but fought a hard fight against OCU.

The Eagles will be in action Wednesday night when they play John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
