Eagles land Draw against USAO

Bethany,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(6-2-4, 4-0-3 SAC) pick up a Draw against a tough Opponent, but take another step closer to possibly grabbing a chance at a regular season conference title, The Draw against USAO, ended in a 1-1 score and the Eagles push their Unbeaten Streak to nine in a row and remain in second place in the SAC standings, just two points under the #1 team MACU who also played to a draw against Oklahoma City on saturday night.

USAO would start the scoring Early in the Game 9th minute with a Goal to give the Drovers an early 1-nil lead, and going into the break USAO would hold the one-nil advantage over SCU. Southwestern Christian would get the Equalizer in the 51st minute by Kodai Tenaka to Draw the Game even at 1-1 Shamari Davis would get the assist on the play by winning a ball on a wayward pass to send a through ball into the box to Tenaka, but the Eagles would not go quietly, SCU was relentless on offense, at one point in a span of 10 seconds four shots on Goal were put up and that event ended with two blocked shots and two saves and on the other end the Eagles put up a stout defense and with a good mix of quality of GK would keep the score at 1-1 until Full time.

SCU would have 13 shots on the day with six on Goal, while the Drovers had 10 shots with seven on Goal. SCU would have the advantage in Corners (9-6 Corners). Salvatore Della Vella would have four saves on the day, to take nothing away from the USAO keeper, Both Keepers showed a quality performance on the pitch.
