Eagles unbeaten streak extends to eight with Win over Rival OCU

Oklahoma City,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(6-2-3, 4-0-2 SAC) pick up dominating win over a top ranked conference opponent and another step closer to possibly grabbing a chance at a regular season conference title beating OCU(10-3,4-1 SAC) 3-1 to push their Unbeaten Streak to Eight in a row and now move into second place in the SAC standings, just two points under the #1 team MACU.

SCU would start the scoring in the 33rd minute with a Goal by Cameron Ashby to give the Eagles an early 1-nil lead, and going into the break SCU would hold the one-nil advantage over OCU. Southwestern Christian would add to their advantage in the 56th minute by Juan Anselmi to put SCU up two-nil, but the Stars would not go quietly in the 72nd minute, OCU would cut the lead back to one, with a Goal of their own to make it two-one still in favor for SCU and later in the 81st minute SCU's Liam Brag would score and this Goal would be his fifth goal in three games and put SCU back up two by a score of 3-1. SCU put up a stout defense and with a good mix of quality of GK would keep the score at 3-2 until Full time.

SCU would have 16 shots on the day with six on Goal, while the Stars had 17 shots with six on Goal. neither team would have the advantage in Corners (4-4 Corners). Salvatore Della Vella would have five saves on the day.
