(Bethany,Okla.) The Lady Eagles pick up their Second Conference Win on the year against the Lady Trailblazers 71-56 to move to 2-4 in SAC play and move to 7-5 on the season. The Lady Trailblazers shot 21-63 from the Field about 33%, 7-25 from three (28%) and 7-13 shooting from the Free Throw Line about 54%. SCU Defense was stout and forced tough shots and got seven steals on the night and three Blocks. The Eagles were able to get 8 pts off of 13 Turnovers which helped lead to the win.

The Lady Eagles Offense also had a good showing today, as they shot 27-66 from the Floor (41%), SCU shot 8-22 from three (36%) and from the Free throw line shot 9-14 (64%). Thamires Andrade led the SCU Lady Eagles in scoring with 17pts. The Bench helped also contributed 12 pts to the Winning effort. The Lady Eagles did Out-Rebound the Lady Trailblazers 47-29. SCU had 13 Offensive rebounds in the game which led to 11 second chance points for the SCU offense. The Lady Eagles also moved the Ball really well tonight getting 20 assist in the Game. Thamires Andrade led the team in assist with seven, Abbey Phibbs helped the team with 5 assist. The big stat for the SCU Offense was 32 points in the paint.

The Senior Thamires Andrade had a big Offensive night with 5-17 shooting, 2-6 from three and 5-6 from the Free Throw Line. She finished the game with with her 2nd straight Double-Double and her 6th on the season, here Final stat line is 17 pts, 12 Rebs, 7 Ast, 4 Stl, and 1 Blk. Junior Lauren Wade also contributed to the Offensive effort with 5-10 shooting from the field and was one rebound short of her first Double-Double on the season, Her Final stat line was 12 pts,9 Rebs, and 1 Blk. Christina Jenkins finished with 14pts, 6 Rebs, and 2 Ast, and  Tresha Yager finished with 12 pts, 3 Rebs, 3 Ast, and 1 Stl.

The Lady Eagles will return to action on the Road on Monday, January 3rd at 6:00pm, they will travel to Waxahachie,TX to play the SAGU Lady Lions in another Sooner Athletic Conference matchup.
