Fort Worth,TX.--Southwestern Christian(5-4, 1-3 SAC) fell in a tough fight to Texas Wesleyan(8-1, 3-1 SAC), 69-91. The Lady Rams shot 33-68 from the Field about 48%, 4-13 from three (31%) and also got up a lot of shots at the Charity strike shooting 21-30 about 70%.Â
The Lady Eagles Offense also had a decent showing today, as they shot 19-46 from the Floor (41%). SCU shot 4-19 from three (21%) and also got to the the Free throw line a bunch and shot 27-32 (84%).Â
Thamires Andrade led the SCU Lady Eagles in scoring with 27 pts. The Bench contributed 15 pts in tough Loss. The Lady Eagles did out-rebound the Lady Rams, (33-31). SCU had 8 Offensive rebounds in the game which led to three second chance pts for the SCU offense. The Lady Eagles had a really tough time getting on the fast break which is a big part of their game, not being able to score any Fast-break pts today. SCU got 7 assist as a team on the day,Â

Thamires Andrade picks up her Fourth Double-Double on the season after today's game, She shot 9-13 from the Field and almost Perfect from the Charity Strike, shooting 9-10 she finished the game with 27 pts, 13 Rebs, and 3 ast.
Gillian Snowder also contributed to the Offensive effort with 3-6 shooting, also shot 1-2 from beyond the arc, and shot 3-4 from the free throw line, Her Final stat line was 10 pts and 3 Rebs.Â
