Southwestern Christian picked up a win against the Bobcats. The Bobcats shot 14-46 from the Field about 34%, 5-15 from three (33%) and 10-24 shooting from the Free Throw Line about 75%. SCU Defense was stout and forced tough shots and got nine steals on the night and one Block. The Eagles were able to get 14 pts off of Turnovers which helped to lead to the win.

The Lady Eagles Offense also had a good showing today, as they shot 28-62 from the Floor (45%), SCU shot 4-12 from three (33%) and from the Free throw line shot 5-9 (55%). Thamires Andrade led the SCU Lady Eagles in scoring with 19pts. The Bench helped also contributed 12 pts to the Winning effort. The Lady Eagles did Out-Rebound the Lady Aggies 38-34. SCU had 14 Offensive rebounds in the game which led to 15 second chance points for the SCU offense. The Lady Eagles also moved the Ball really well tonight getting 16 assist in the Game. Thamires Andrade led the team in assist with five, Christina Jenkins and Lauren Masquat helped the team with 3 assist each. The big stat for the SCU Offense was 14 points off Turnovers.

The Senior Thamires Andrade had a big Offensive night with 8-19 shooting, 0-1 from three and 3-5 from the Free Throw Line. She finished the game with a Double-Double, here Final stat line is 19 pts, 11 Rebs, 5 Ast, and 2 Stl. Junior Lauren Wade also contributed to the Offensive effort with 5-7 shooting from the field, Her Final stat line was 10 pts and 2 Rebs. Christina Jenkins finished with 8pts, 6 Rebs, and 3 Ast, and Abbey Phibbs finished with 8 pts, 4 Rebs,and 2 Ast and Tresha Yager finished with 8 pts, 3 Rebs, and 1 Ast.

The Lady Eagles will return to action at Home on Saturday, January 1st at 2:00pm. It will be the first game back from Christmas break.
