Southwestern Christian picked up its First Conference win on this Early Campaign against the Aggies. The Aggies shot 22-58 from the Field about 37%, 6-21 from three (28%) and 15-19 shooting from the Charity Strike about 58%. SCU Defense was stout and forced tough shots and got six steals on the night and one Block. The Eagles were able to get 14 pts off of Turnovers which helped to lead to the win.
The Lady Eagles Offense also had a good showing today, as they shot 27-55 from the Floor (49%), SCU shot 4-15 from three (26%) and from the Free throw line shot 23-29 (79%).Â
Thamires Andrade led the SCU Lady Eagles in scoring with 26pts. The Bench helped also contributed 22 pts to the Winning effort. The Lady Eagles did Out-Rebound the Lady Aggies 33-29. SCU had 10 Offensive rebounds in the game which led to 14 second chance pts for the SCU offense. The Lady Eagles also moved the Ball really well tonight getting 14 assist in the Game.Â

Thamires Andrade had a big Offensive night with 7-16 shooting, 1-4 from Three and had a really big night from the Charity Strike shooting 11-12, she finished the game with a Double-Double, here Final stat line is 26 pts, 11 Rebs, 5 Ast, and 1 Stl. JuniorÂ
Christina Jenkins also contributed to the Offensive effort with 6-8 shooting from the field and 4-5 shooting from the Free throw line, Her Final stat line was 16 pts and 5 Rebs.Â
