MEN?S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES IN OHIO AT THE NCCAA NATIONALS

On November 10th, the SCU men's cross country team traveled to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the NCCAA national championship. Teams from across the nation assembled to make this one of the toughest meets the NCCAA has held. Many of the teams competing in the event have dual membership with either the NAIA or NCAA.

The SCU men ran well and finished in 27th place out of 39 teams. Coach Parent stated "the competition was strong, but the team competed and represented SCU well". SCU had six runners compete and were led by Noe Perez who crossed the finished line in 36th place, followed by Joel Salazar who finished 51st. The remaining eagles competing were Thaddeus Dies, who placed 195th, Charles Reichert placing 204th, Andrew Johnson finishing 212th, and AJ Beagles placing 226th. "Noe and Joel both ran strong races and Thad turned in one of his better performances" Coach Parent stated.
