1/8/2026 10:53:00 AM

Southwestern Christian University has begun their new cross country & distance track program in a very big way over the Christmas Holidays. New Head Coach Mackenzie Wahpepah-Harris is pleased to announce the signing of NJCAA All-American Andres Mandujano (Redlands
Community College).
Andres Mandujano was raised in Oklahoma City and attended and received numerous awards while competing for Southmoore High School (Class of 2025). Upon graduation, he signed with Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma, where he competed in cross country and achieved All-American status after competing in the NJCAA National Championships at Fort Dodge, Iowa during the Fall of 2025. He had the following to say concerning his time a Redlands and new SCU opportunity, "The time I had with Redlands will be looked back upon as a time of my life where I had an opportunity to travel and to make numerous friends. The accomplishments I received helped me boost my confidence in order to exceed my limits running, break records for the school, and even become an All-American. I couldn't have done this all without Coach Paul Madzivire who was always there to push me and make sure I was getting the proper training I needed in order to become who I am now. I am also very thankful to my new Coach Mackenzie Wahpepah-Harris for providing me an opportunity to compete at the university level."

Coach Mack commented, "Andres has the genuine potential to set records for our university,
the Sooner Athletic Conference, and in the NCCAA & NAIA as his collegiate career continues. We
are excited to have him as a part of the program and to provide a clear athletic standard for our
team."
