Adam Kay

Adam Kay was promoted to head coach of the men's soccer team in December 2019.

Kay spent the 2019 season as an assistant on the coaching staff before being promoted to head coach of the program at the end of the season.

Prior to the 2019 season, Kay spent time as an assistant coach at Bishop McGuiness High School, Putnam City High School, and Mid-America Christian University. During his time as an assistant, Kay helped guide Bishop McGuiness to a 5A state finals appearance, Putnam City to a 6A state semi-finals appearance, and a Sooner Athletic Conference championship at Mid-America Christian in 2018.

Kay is originally from Bristol, England, but came to Southwestern Christian in 2010 to play soccer. In his four years as a player, Kay racked up three all-conference selections and three all-NCCAA selections.

Kay has spent the past five years as the manager of the OKC 1889 FC and remains in that role.

He graduated from SCU with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management in 2014. He would later receive a master's degree in Business Administration at Mid-America Christian.
