A native of Brisbane, Australia. Adam Todd-Thomas Begins his second season as an assistant coach with
the Southwestern Christian University Men’s basketball program
Todd-Thomas brings experience from across the country and internationally to the eagles with coaching
stops at Florida National University in Miami, Florida, Global Squad Australia 18U (AAU) and with the
Bayside Bombers in Brisbane, Australia.
In 2018, Todd-Thomas broke into coaching working as an Assistant Coach for Women’s Basketball and
Director of Basketball Operations for both the Men’s and Women’s programs at Florida National
University.
In his first year with the program, Todd-Thomas helped the Conquistadors to a 17-13 season and a run
to the USCAA final four in the inaugural season of the program. Along with this Todd-Thomas developed
two all-conference selections and two honorably mention All Americans.
Todd-Thomas also served as the Team Australia head coach and director of recruiting for the Alexander
Basketball Academy Global Squad, An AAU Program based on the east coast. His program saw multiple
kids go on to play at the NCAA D1, D2, NAIA and NJCAA levels. He was the Head Coach for the Bayside
Bombers in Australia in 2016 and also an assistant for their senior men’s program. Todd-Thomas also
spent time as the Head Varsity coach for his high school Faith Lutheran College, Redlands.
As a player, Todd-Thomas won 3 out of 4 Conference championships at Faith Lutheran College Redlands
High School and is the schools all time assists, 3 pointers made and winning player ever. He then
played four seasons at SCU and was a part of the 2016/17 team that went 21-13 while appearing in one
NCCAA National Championship.
Todd-Thomas graduated from Southwestern Christian University in 2018 with a degree in Sports
Management and again in 2019 from Florida National University with a Master’s Degree in Business
Administration and Marketing.
