Southwestern Christian softball picked up a pair of offensive-heavy wins over Dallas Christian on Tuesday, winning 11-8 and 17-13.
In game one, the Eagles jumped out early with six runs in the first two innings and never trailed, finishing with 16 hits. Ebony Garza led the way with four hits and three RBIs, while Kylee Coy and Trinity Norwood combined for five hits and five RBIs. Lainey King earned the win in relief.
Game two turned into an offensive battle, with SCU pulling away late by scoring 10 runs across the final two innings, including eight in the ninth. Norwood had a huge performance with four hits and five RBIs, while Coy added three hits and Garza chipped in three more. Gretchen Wendling secured the win in relief.
The Eagles' offense totaled 28 runs and 32 hits across the doubleheader in an impressive sweep.
