Southwestern Christian set the tone early, taking a 15–12 lead after the opening quarter and maintaining control throughout the first half. The Eagles showed patience offensively while creating extra possessions on the glass, building a 32–31 advantage at the break.
Junior guard Chrissen Harland led all scorers with 17 points, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 at the free-throw line. Harland consistently attacked the paint and provided a steady presence during key stretches. Kaydrin Scott delivered an all-around performance with 16 points, a game-high 13 rebounds, four steals, and a block, anchoring the Eagles on both ends of the floor.
Brooke Robertson added nine points and helped ignite transition opportunities, while Taylor Meyners chipped in eight points and four rebounds off the bench. Southwestern Christian's depth proved important, as the Eagles received 17 bench points and forced 19 turnovers on the defensive end.
