Eagles Dominate Doubleheader Behind Explosive Offense

Game 1: Eagles Roll to 11-Run Victory

Southwestern Christian opened the day with an 11-run outburst, scoring in four different innings to pull away early. N. Anderson set the tone from the leadoff spot, finishing with three runs scored while reaching base consistently. R. Florenzan delivered a big extra-base hit and scored once, while A. O'Malley went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and an RBI.

The middle of the order provided consistent production as E. Rojas drove in four runs, including a sacrifice fly and a key double. B. Browning added an RBI single, and D. Paredes chipped in with an RBI double.

On the mound, F. Morel earned the win after working 5.1 innings, allowing four runs while striking out seven. J. Hogan closed the door in relief, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts to secure the victory.


Game 2: Early Surge Fuels 14–4 Win

The Eagles followed with an even more explosive showing in the second game, piling up 14 runs on 17 hits. Southwestern Christian erupted for six runs in the second inning and never looked back.

N. Anderson continued his strong day, going 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, and three runs scored. R. Florenzan matched him with three hits of his own and drove in a run, while A. O'Malley added two hits and an RBI. E. Rojas finished with two hits, two RBIs, and a walk, and D. Ornelas delivered a pair of RBIs from behind the plate.

The Eagles also showcased speed and situational execution, as P. Nelson and B. Melo each contributed extra-base hits and runs scored during the decisive middle innings.

On the hill, A. Paredes picked up the win, striking out six over four innings. J. Reed and B. Tucker combined to finish the game, with Tucker tossing two scoreless innings and striking out three.
