OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Southwestern Christian volleyball fell to Mid-America Christian in straight sets Saturday afternoon, dropping their Sooner Athletic Conference record to 0-6 and overall to 0-9.

The Eagles put in a fight, but couldn't solve MACU's steady offense. Mid-America Christian (10-4, 5-2 SAC) controlled the match from start to finish.

All three sets went to MACU, with SCU unable to turn the tide: each set saw MACU pull away during key stretches.

While the final result wasn't in SCU's favor, there were noticeable efforts worth highlighting. SCU battled hard defensively and recorded several long rallies. The serve receive unit showed flashes of composure under pressure, and the backs-line digging kept many points alive that seemed lost early.
