Day 1 against USAO

The Southwestern Christian University Eagles faced a challenging doubleheader against Science and Arts at Bill Smith Ballpark in Chickasha, OK on April 3, 2025. Despite demonstrating resilience, the Eagles were bested in both games with final scores of 7-1 and 6-1, respectively, under cloudy and windy conditions.

During the first game, the Eagles initially led thanks to a key run scored by Hannah Keele. However, the momentum shifted dramatically when Science and Arts responded with five runs in the fourth inning, largely defining the day's competition. Jessica Czikra, the starting pitcher for the Eagles in the first game, faced a tough outing against a relentless Science and Arts offense. Lexi Cahwee provided a bright spot with an RBI single, contributing to the team's efforts.

The second game saw Science and Arts seizing an early advantage which they maintained through critical plays, including a three-run fifth inning that further solidified their lead. Lauren Schallert took the mound for the Eagles, striving to contain the opponent's hitters. Maliyah Patton managed to notch a run for the Eagles, while Trinity Norwood added an RBI single, signaling a persistent but overshadowed performance by the Eagles.
