Plainview, TX. - In a challenging regular season basketball encounter, the Southwestern Christian University Eagles experienced a significant setback at the Hutcherson Center on February 6, 2025. Facing off against the Wayland Baptist Pioneers, the Eagles were defeated with a final score of 54-86.
From the opening minutes, the Eagles struggled to match the Pioneers' pace, trailing 23-47 by halftime. Despite a valiant effort and an impressive performance from
Jayden Mason, who scored 28 points alongside 6 rebounds and 10 steals, the team could not close the gap. Brooke Roberson also contributed notably with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Additional standout performances included
