BETHANY, Okla. — Southwestern Christian women's basketball closed the game strong Saturday afternoon, defeating Texas Wesleyan 77–62 in SAC action at home.
The Eagles led after each of the first two quarters and used a decisive fourth-quarter surge, outscoring the Rams 23–7, to secure the win. Brooke Robertson and Kaydrin Scott paced SCU with 20 points each, while Jayden Mason added 19 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds in an all-around performance.
SCU shot 50 percent from the field and knocked down 13 three-pointers, with Robertson connecting on six from beyond the arc. The Eagles also forced key turnovers down the stretch, turning defense into scoring opportunities to extend the lead.
With the victory, Southwestern Christian improves to 7–5 overall and 4–4 in conference play as the Eagles continue their SAC schedule.
