BETHANY, Okla. — Southwestern Christian men's basketball fell 70–58 to Texas Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon in SAC play at home.
The Eagles trailed 35–26 at halftime but showed improved offensive rhythm in the second half, scoring 32 points. Jalen Goar led SCU with 12 points, while JaColby Williams and Jordun Willard added nine points each.
SCU battled on the glass behind Willard's team-high 10 rebounds, but Texas Wesleyan's efficiency in the paint and points off turnovers proved to be the difference. The Rams scored 44 points in the paint and 25 points off turnovers.
Southwestern Christian moves to 5–8 overall and 3–5 in conference play as the Eagles continue their SAC schedule.
