Oklahoma City, Okla. - Southwestern Christian University and the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma squared off tonight at a neutral site tonight, holding the competition at Mid-America Christian University. It was a back-and-forth bout, but USAO ultimately came out on top, 70-63.

Southwestern Christian was very hot and cold at different points tonight, having poor first and third quarters, but good second and fourth quarters. For the Eagles, Chrissen Harland finished as the team's leading scorer with 18 points and 6 rebounds. The guard helped jumpstart the Eagles' offense with her three-point shot, grabbing half of her point total from beyond the arch. Brooke Robertson finished the night with 16 points, and her clutch scoring coupled with 2 steals kept SCU in the game when the overall offense was going quiet. Jayden Mason used her trips to the line effectively, finishing with 11 points while being a force in the field with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Off the bench, Emma Spring finished with 10 points, going 3-6 from beyond the arch and bringing in 3 rebounds to provide some much-needed relief as a sub.
