The Southwestern Christian University Eagles fell in the opening round of the NCCAA Championship tournament to the #4 seed Grace College. 

The Eagles started strong, finishing the first quarter 1 point behind the Lancers but SCU would fall behind even more at the end of the second quarter 40 to 35. The Eagles fought hard in the third coming up short by 1 point. So they needed to make up 6 points headed into the 4th quarter but just could not finish on top. The Lancers would beat the Eagles 79-73. SCU will now play the loser of #1 Oakland City or #8 Redeemer University Thursday at 1:45PM.
