The Southwestern Christian University Eagles dropped Game 3 vs. the Texas Wesleyan University Rams, closing out the second Sooner Athletic Conference series of the year.

For the third time in a row, the Texas Wesleyan Rams got out to an early lead over the Eagles, but this time, the Rams would hold the lead until the end of the game. SCU was unable to score until the fifth inning, when Tyler Reeves drew a walk with the bases loaded, followed by a Jhors Gomez 2RBI single. Zane Bandfield would later score another run on a sacrifice fly, which was the final time the Eagles crossed the plate. Connor O'Malley had an excellent relief appearance starting late in the fourth inning. He kept the game close for the Eagles, shutting-out the Rams over three and one-thirds of an inning, only allowing two hits and a walk, while striking out three.
