Eagles fall in heartbreaker

The Southwestern Christian University Eagles lost in heartbreaking fashion against Texas Wesleyan University at home to fall to 1-17 (1-15).

 

The Eagles battled to the very end, losing the game on free-throws late in the contest. Bralen Patterson and Ronald Moore led the team in points, with Patterson scoring 18 and Moore scoring 17. Michael Wooldridge picked up his second double-double in a row with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Jason Douglas-Stanley also picked up 10 points, picking up 2 assists, and knocking down the Eagles' only made 3-pointer of the game. The Eagles went 25-58 from the field, and 13-21 from the free-throw line.
