Game 1: SCU 11 - 2 RU
Â
Game 1 was all Eagles from start to finish, as the team put up 4 runs in the first and never looked back. The first run of the game was scored on a bases loaded balk, then Joseph Boone scored another on a sacrifice fly, followed by Jake Cox who smacked a 2 RBI single. Draike Sparks demolished a solo home run in the second, but Randall would finally put a run on the board in the fourth. The Eagle bats would come alive again in the fourth and fifth again, with Tyler Reeves, Boone, and Sparks picking up RBIs, while Phoenix Nelson scored on a hit by pitch. Randall would get another run in the seventh, but it was too little too late for the Saints. Ariel Tejada got the win, striking out seven in three innings and giving up no runs on one hit.

A run scored on a passed ball, and a Jake Cox ground ball forced a fielder's choice, scoring a fourth. Randall scored three runs in the fifth, but were unable to complete the comeback against the Eagles pitching staff and defense.
