Bethany, Okla. - Southwestern Christian continued its win streak by taking down Oklahoma Panhandle State University today 63 - 40. Despite a slow start, SCU has now won three games in a row and are 5-6 (4-4) on the season.
Chrissen Harland led SCU in points with 23, knocking down half of her shots from the field and line, as well as being the only Eagle to score any three-point shots. Harland was also a menace when not taking shots, grabbing six rebounds and finding three steals while playing 35 of the 40 minutes in regulation.
Jayden Mason finished the night only one rebound short of a double-double, as the point guard continues her impressive junior season. She went 3-6 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line, totaling 10 points, with 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.
Allison Kennedy, despite getting into foul trouble, still put up 8 points and 6 rebounds, while
Delaney Reimer aided the team with five rebounds, three assists and steals, and six points. Many Eagles also had good nights, including both
Whitney Wade with her added rebound, 1 steal, and 6 points and
Jenna Wade with 7 rebounds, an assist, and 4 points.Â
