Bethany, Okla. - Southwestern Christian University was defeated by Nelson University at home tonight, by a final of 3 sets to none. With the conclusion of this match, only one game remains in th 2024 regular season.

Faith DeSouza was presented with a ceremonial signed volleyball before the game, commemorating her passing of 2000 assists in her career. DeSouza moves into second all-time in Eagle history in assists. 

Paige McGee would lead SCU with 8 kills and an astounding .538 hit%. She also picked up one dig. Brianna DeVries also finished with 8 kills, grabbing five digs along the way. Alondra Esparza finished with 2 service aces and 6 total kills, with 1 dig of her own. DeSouza led the team in assists and service aces, with 13 and 3 respectively, while also blocking 1 ball and finding 3 digs. Finally, Kloe Booker-Searcy ended the match with 5 kills, an assist, and 2 digs.
