Bethany, Okla. - Southwestern Christian University took down the Texas Wesleyan University Rams today, by a final of 62-52. The Eagle's victory capped off homecoming week in Bethany, and gave their conference rivals their first loss of the season.
The Eagles were able to finish the first quarter ahead of the Rams, and despite a points drought in the second, they were able to come out of halftime and keep the pressure up.
Chrissen Harland again showed off her offensive prowess, finishing the night with 18 points after going an astounding 5-6 from the three-point line.
Delaney Reimer came close to a double-double, with 13 points and 8 rebounds, leading the team in the latter metric.
Brooke Robertson and
Kennedy Allison both finished with 9 points, with Robertson's total coming off of 3-6 three-point shooting, and Allison's from the field and from the free-throw line. Point GuardÂ
Jayden Mason had seven assists and four steals, leading SCU in both categories.
