Bethany, Okla. - The Southwestern Christian University Eagles took on Texas Wesleyan University at home today. Although the Eagles would lose 2-1, they fought hard from start to finish against a strong Rams squad.

Abbigail Johnson scored SCU's lone goal of the match off an assist from Marina Angiolini. Marta Papandrea played all 90 minutes in the goal for SCU, saving 5 goals in total. Both Johnson and Hadley Mclanahan took 2 shots each, although Johnson's was the only one to find net.
