Bethany, Okla. - Southwestern Christian and Wayland Baptist went head to head today in the regular season finale, playing one of the tightest matches out of the season. In a match that decided seeding for the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament, the final score ended up being 0-0, as Wayland Baptist secured the higher seed by holding off the Eagles.

SCU started off strong, putting up more shot attempts and shots on goal than the Pioneers through 45 minutes. SCU kept the offensive pressure up, as Enzo Camps would only have to save one shot in the first half. However, the Eagles were unable to find open net despite their intensity, and went into the half tied. The Pioneers had a much better second half, putting up more shots and forcing the Eagles into a defensive play style more often, but the Eagles still out-shot WBU throughout the half. Camps finished the day with 2 saves and Kanta Miyakawa led SCU with 3 shots, all of which were on goal, while Teejay Chiororo had 2 shots (1 on goal).
