Goodwell, Okla. - SCU grabbed a much-needed win on the road against Oklahoma Panhandle State University today, shutting out the Aggies by a final of 2-0. The Eagles took advantage of Aggie penalties to get on the board early, and never looked back after their first goal.
Although it took until the second half for the first goal to find net, SCU took a commanding stance in the back half.
Abbigail Johnson grabbed SCU's first goal, taking advantage of a penalty kick. Twenty minutes later,
Hadley Mclanahan scored the final goal, assisted by
Andrea Rivera.
Marta Papandrea saved three goals tonight, as she continues to provide SCU security in the net.
