Despite good production from both teams' starters and bench, the Evangels managed to pull ahead in the second half, out-scoring the Eagles 50 - 36 in the last 20 minutes. Ronald Moore and Jason Douglas-Stanley each dropped 16 points in the contest, while Taylor Turner and Shawn Hopkins both put up 11 themselves. Bralen Patterson led the Eagles in rebounds with 9 and steals with 3. Both Turner and Hopkins were assessed technical fouls - Hopkins in the first half and Turner in the second.
