Oklahoma City,OK.-- Southwestern Christian(15-5, 1-2 SAC) split the doubleheader with Mid-America Christian(18-4, 2-1 SAC) but end up dropping the series two games to one. Eagles lose game one 4-3 in heartbreaking fashion with a walk-off homer, but bounced back in game two winning 6-4.
Game 1:
The Evangels would open the scoring in the third with a sac fly to right to take the lead at 1-0. MACU would add one run in the sixth off another sac fly to make it 2-0. Southwestern Christian would fight back in the seventh with three runs to take the lead, starting with Draike Sparks single to right center that scored a run, then Tyler Reeves would single to right and knock in two runs to give the Eagles the lead at 3-2 heading into the bottom half of the seventh. Unfortunately the Evangels would get a runner on and in the next at-bat hit a walk-off Homerun to win the game 4-3 and win the series.

Game 2:
Mid-America Christian opened the scoring in the first with one run. The Eagles would take the lead in the third when Jhors Gomez singled to Right and drove in two runs to make it a 2-1 ball game. Southwestern Christian would go off in the fourth, with a three run inning, starting with Korben Ford hitting a single to left and scored a runner from third and Jake Cox in the next at would also single to left and knock in another run, then Jhors Gomez would get walked with bases loaded and move a run across and pick up the easy RBI, to give the Eagles a 5-1 lead. MACU would respond in their half of the fourth with a 2 run Homerun to make it 5-3, heading into the fifth. The Eagles would nab that run back in the fifth with Tyler Reeves hitting a sac fly to score a run and extend the Eagles lead to 6-3. The Evangels would not relent in the fifth, knocking in a run with single through the Left side to make it 6-4, but Gabriel Figueroa would shut the gate after that run as MACU struggled to get anything going in the sixth and the seventh.
