Springdale,AR.-- Southwestern Christian(14-3) wins the four game series over Ecclesia(3-12) with sweeping the doubleheader, winning game one 15-11 and dominating game two 15-0 and taking the series three games to one over the Royals.
Game 1:
Ecclesia would start the scoring in the first inning with two runs. The Eagles would respond back in the top of the second with five runs, starting with a single to right by Korben Ford to drive in a run to make it a 1-2 ball game, Jhors Gomez later in the inning would give the Eagles the lead with a Oppo Grand Slam over Right to the Eagles their first lead of the game and make it 5-2. The Royals would respond with a run in their half of the second to bring it within two runs at 5-3. Southwestern Christian would not relent, they would keep the scoring rolling in third with another five run inning, getting started with a two-run Homerun over center by Braden Browning to make it a 7-3 Eagles lead, Jhors Gomez would add another RBI to his tally off a ground out to drive in a run and make it 8-3, Dario Paredes would single to Center to drive in two runs to bring the SCU lead to 10-3 heading into the fourth. Eagles would add an insurance run in the sixth off a fielder's choice to give SCU a 11-3 lead. The Royals would have a big sixth inning and tie the game scoring eight runs in the bottom of the sixth and tie the game at 11-11 heading into the seventh. The Eagles would not let this game slip away responding to the Royals big sixth inning with a four run seventh, starting when Phoenix Nelson singles to Center to bring in a run 12-11, the Zane Bandfield would single through the left side to score an Eagles runner 13-11, then later Tyler Reeves would single on a line drive to center scoring two runners and making it a 15-11 ball game heading into the seventh. Tagen Conary would shut down the Royals in the bottom of the seventh to win the game for the Eagles and pick up his second win on the season.

Game 2:
Southwestern Christian would have a chance to win the series, and started off hot in the first inning with three runs starting with Dario Paredes singled to left to drive in a run, 1-0, then a fielder's choice would score two Eagles runners and give SCU an early 3-0 lead. The Eagles would scratch across three more runs in the second off fielder's choice and make it 4-0 and then later Jhors Gomez would hit his second homerun of the series with a 2 Run shot over left to extend the SCU lead to 6-0. Southwestern Christian would have a big six run fourth inning, with six hits in the inning, three singles and three doubles to give SCU a 12-0 lead heading into the fifth. The Eagles did not stop there, they would notch a run in the fifth of a single by Phoenix Nelson to drive in a runner and make it 13-0. SCU would score two in the seventh, one run on a Royals fielding error and the last run came off a Walk with bases loaded to make it 15-0 in favor of the Eagles. Connor O'Malley would absolutely dominate this game and shut the door completely in the bottom of the seventh to complete the Complete-Game Shutout over the Royals and pick up his third win on the campaign.
