The Southwestern Christian University women's basketball team came back home, where they suffered a big defeat to USAO. This was the Eagles twenty seventh encounter with the Drovers.

MJ Case led the Eagles as one of the only players in double figures with 22, followed by Kennedy Allison with 10 points. Jayden Mason had 9, Tresha Yager had 8 points and Genesis Campana in her first varsity game added 6 points.

MJ Case managed to perform on both ends of the floor, as he had 7 rebounds and a steal. Kennedy Allison contributed with five rebounds for the Eagles. The Eagles came out slow and never managed to get a spark going.

Inside The Numbers

• The Eagles shot 38.8 percent from the floor while the Drovers had a 57.6 percent mark

• MJ Case's 22 points came on 9-of-17 shooting from the floor and a 4-of-6 effort from the charity stripe

• SCU lost the rebounding battle 42-25 and pulled down 7 offensive rebounds 

• USAO finished with a 3-0 advantage in blocked shots,

• Jenna Wade took only one shot and finished with two points 

• Kaitin Taylor made her presence known in assisting a three point basket
