The Southwestern Christian University started conference play in Goodwell, Oklahoma against Oklahoma Panhandle State. The Eagles took a tough lose 72-78. SCU lead 42-40 going into half time but then struggled to stop the Aggies in the second half being outscored 38-30. Ronald Moore led the Eagles with 21 points and added 7 rebounds. OPSU Aggies Amare Brown led the team with 26 points, half of his points coming from free throws. The Eagles did not hold up to their standard shooting 9-24 from the free throw line.
