Bartlesville, Okla.-- Southwestern Christian opened their season off against division two OKWU, losing 57-88. OKWU shot 38-75 from the field (51%).  Jaden Lietzke lead OKWU with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists.OKWU shot 8-29 (28%)from three. SCU had 10 steals on the day.

Southwestern Christian ended the game shooting 21-52 (40 %) from the floor, while shooting 9 of 25 (36%) from beyond the Arc, SCU shot 6 for 14  (42%) from the free throw line. The bench of SCU contributed 16 points. Shawn Hopkins took the load as the Eagles top scorer with 13 points. Southwestern had 27 rebounds on the day, 19 on the defensive glass. SCU ended the day with 12 assists overall.

Southwestern will look to bounce back against SNU on Nov. 2 at 2:00 PM @SNU.
